My name is Brian Bourque, and I’m the author of this marketing and startup growth newsletter.

I’m also the SVP of Marketing at SmartAsset.

I have about 20 years of digital marketing experience.

Over the past eight years I’ve helped SmartAsset grow from $0 to $100M+ in revenue. In 2021 we officially became a “unicorn” with a $1B+ valuation.

I joined the company as the sole marketer in 2015 and have experienced firsthand the rush of startup growth from individual contributor to executive team member.

The purpose of this newsletter is to distill my learnings from over the years and help other marketers and entrepreneurs.

Building a startup can be a wild and uncertain journey.
